We believe that the music you play at your business, tells a lot about who you are. Do you feel like your music choice tells your company's story or let's people into your personality? One of our first Business Jamz customers was a brewery. When we first linked up with them they were playing Pandora radio and most of the staff was miserable. After we sat down with them, we built them six different playlists to match their personality and business. Here are the six playlists we made for them:
1) The 80's- For those days they wanted some cheesy, fantastic gold playing through the speakers. What a feeling!
2) Family Friendly Hip Hop- The staff were all big hip hop fans and we worked our tails off to build a killer playlist sans swears. Truck yeah!
3) Funktastic Funk- A lot of good hip hop samples were born from thick funky jams. We dug into the vault to build a booty shakin' funk list.
4) 1990's- Nirvana to Goo Goo Dolls to Naughty by Nature to Soundgarden to Blind Melon to Salt-n-Peppa to No Doubt to Pearl Jam to Jewel to Spin Doctors to Gin Blossoms to Spice Girls to Sublime to Will Smith to Garbage to Cake to Bell Biv Devoe to Radiohead to Primus to The Fugees to Toad the Wet Sprocket to... you get the picture...
5) Jazzy Joints- We tapped into the deep tracks of jazz and grabbed classics from John Coltrane to Ella Fitzgerald to Charlie Parker. Sophisticated and intriguing.
6) Bluesy Snippets- Yes, the usual suspects like B.B., Stevie, and Jimi, but we peppered in other artists with blue flair like The Allman Brothers, The Band, Tedeschi Trucks, etc.
These six playlists brought variety and personality to this business. Think about it, what kinds of music can bring the same to your business? Comment below!
