Many of us remember the days when we would spend hours crafting the perfect mix of songs to put on a tape or CD for a friend or a crush.You'd tailor the song selection to fit the person's tastes and maybe throw on a few “new” tunes to expand their horizons. It took time, but it was fun and an opportunity to get creative.

 

Flashforward to today, we live in a digital world with all sorts of streaming services and ways to download music. Services like Spotify and Apple Music allow us discover music- old and new, build playlists, and share them with our people.

There are songs that bring us back to moments in life. Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again" reminds some of the teased hair and acid washed jeans of the '80s.
